On May 8, 2025, the Technological Institute for Children’s and Leisure Products (AIJU) brought together experts in innovation, sustainability, and digitization in consumer products to address the major challenges and latest trends posed by the transition to a circular economy model in the consumer industry.
The conference, aimed at professionals from across the value chain of the children’s and leisure products sector, including raw material companies, product manufacturers, product designers and managers, and experts in sustainability, safety, and emerging technologies, was conceived as a strategic forum for updating knowledge, sharing experiences, and establishing new partnerships.
The event, part of the celebrations marking AIJU’s 40th anniversary, featured presentations by experts from the Technology Institute, as well as from the Ministry of Industry and Tourism; the Valencian Association of Plastic Companies (AVEP); the University Institute of Materials Technology of the UPV, as well as companies such as Tapintoit and Consume con COCO, an initiative that already brings together more than 500 sustainable brands.
Within this framework, the Life Superbiodiesel project was presented as an example of a circular economy project, along with its Layman report, which was made available to all attendees interested in the project’s results.
